We were very lucky to be visited by Central Devon MP Mel Stride and local Devon county councillor Lois Samuel the other day (19/05/23)

Mel and Lois decided to take time out their busy schedules to come and visit Immersion to find out about all the stuff we have going on particular our mental health sessions aimed at men over 18. It was a great opportunity to show them around and talk about the current, previous and future projects we have here at Immersion and the positive impact they have on the community.

Mel said:

“Just as sports clubs and organisations like the scouts and guides help children to build confidence and self-esteem, so to is Immersion. I suspect in years to come Ryan will prove to have been a pioneer as gaming and Esports continue to grow in popularity. I

was particularly interested in the fantastic work Immersion has done to cater for people with disabilities and to shine a light on men’s mental health.”

For anyone interested in our mental health sessions we are currently running free meditation and escapism experiences to members of the public as well as free sessions for men over 18 on Wednesdays 19:00 - 21:00 Magic the gathering session

Thursdays 18:00 - 21:00 Warhammer

Friday 18:00 - 20:00 Social gaming

Along side this we will also be offering a free to attend petes dragons course on Monday 5th June 9:30 till 11:00/11:30. The course will be centred around suicide awareness.
